David Raffoul, a French designer who grew up in Beirut, and Nicolas Moussallem, a Lebanese designer, founded the design studio David/Nicolas in 2011. Nicolas Moussalem, graduated in Interior Design at the Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in Beirut, worked as a product and interior designer at Hotellerie SA, a luxury boutique hotel in Beirut; David Raffoul, graduated in Interior Architecture at the Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts in Beirut, worked at Studio Marco Piva in Milan and Tokyo at the Nendo design studio. The philosophy of the two designers is manifested through teamwork, giving rise to works that have been exhibited internationally at several fairs including: Salone del Mobile in Milan, Art Basel in Miami, gallery Design & Foam in Amsterdam, Paris D' Days, IMM Cologne, design week in Beijing, Salone Satellite in Milan, Shanghai Glass Museum, Mobile Museum and Espace éphémère gallery in Beirut.
